the purpose of a intership

say....what do u think a intership should be about?..

is it for the experience?......or for the work experience?

i texted my lecturer/careperson about how i have to reply the company tomorrow and stuff here and there, also i noted that i do not know if i should take up their offer as
NO.1...being a social media analysis = drop dead boring job....
NO.2...its a waste of time because i probably won't learn anything i don't know.

which then my lecturer said that going for an intership "is just for the work experience".

so wad the fuck......if u just wanted "a work experience" can't i just buy the fuckin papers, call a company....which i will be placed in a even more real situations and get a better pay, instead of going in as an intern and get treated like endangered species....

its a fact come on, everyone knows it. interns do nothing in their work.....if i wanted "a work experience" i would be better off finding a job off my own.

a intership should really be about puting u into a company where u can learn things u couldn't in classrooms, and to put what you learnt in the class to the test, not just to get "a work experience"

going for a intership just for "the work experience" is just totally unjustifiable to me.....

yes i do want to add on, it is the company's worker that gave me the advice to choose wisely as they do know clearly during my interview that i wanted a more technical intership and not just clicking on facebook everyday, so they told me that if i feel i won't learn anything, i should not hesitate to reject it.

THAT....dicks.....IS GOOD ADVICE......this company is good as far as i know, and if based on this you want to avoid this company for future interships, i do not have anything to say...

i'm just very disappointed that lectures works like robots that have failed programming.

singapore's educational system is a outright fail.....from start to end.......but at least the teachers in primary and secondary school.....are......human......
anything above that are mostly screwed robots given a bolt tightening once every few months.....

i really miss....i really really do.......my secondary school life.....
