been a while but i think i should update this blog...

on 1 oct i finally played on a finals in a sangokushi taisen competition...NOTE: FINALS (i always lose in preliminary matches due to either stupid mistake or stupid deck choice), hey but wad the heck i entered the finals using a stupid deck too.....zzzz

i got.....4th..........zzzzzz

that was rather.......frustrating cos i had win everyone yet am not on the top 3....
but i also had a lot of problems within the top 4 bracket cos of deck disadvantages.....i absolutely hate that......which was also the reason i killed my play count of sango this year alone.

another stuff i wanna talk about is.....about my grandmother's wake.

no it's not gonna be some emo crap, but i rather want to talk about my experience since it is my first time sitting through the entire ceremony.

sadly i was never really close with my maternal grandmother, i only see her less then 10 times a year, and due to language barrier we hardly communicated.

she passed away last sunday, 2 oct and everyone rushed to the hospital. her health was on the rocks the past few years but this time round it time.

the ceremony was held throughout monday to thursday. monday and tuesday there wasn't much. i just went to the wake, talked a bit mingled around people.

wednesday was when we had to go through a ritual, so we were supposed to kneel down for about 5 minutes until the monks finish their chanting, and we made 3 rounds around my grandmothers coffin and went back to pray and bow in respect.
that repeated for 4 times.

the monk told us to sit instead of kneel the first three times, and now i agree with the monk, if we all kneeled down for all 4 times we would be numb.

so after all that, it was only the cremation left on thursday. we went though one longer ritual on thursday. and next we followed the hearse for a short distance to 'send our grandmother on her final journey'

we took the bus and went to the cremation center, were my family made the last round of ritual, and send her off in the viewing room.

throughout this entire day we could only wear socks, no shoes, which i believe if it was in the past we could not even wear anything.

it was a pretty long ceremony i have to say......seeing this as my first time sitting through a wake.

so i guess that it.....until so other massive stuff happens in my life...i don't know if i still have materials to blog.
still playing lots of games and lots of games....

i so seriously want to rant.........i just cannot take it when people propose a fail.......
but hell heck i have to endure that....................................

i felt like adding a bit more, but my previous post just got so long, so i'll just start a new post...

there are really....alot...of....damn....fuckin...SPAMS.....i get spams in my e-mail...and even in the shoutbox now...
like WOW...did spams in shoutbox even EXISTED????....

i actually used my e-mail the past few years more then like my first 15 years of my life combined....
so its VERY  VERY irritating when you always check the mail only to see spams after spams after spams after spams........wel you get the message...

some of my friends blog either moved location to tumblr....hmm never really went deep into it...but it seems no different from twitter less the fact that instead of 140 words post, you do a picture instead...and there is a solid website also.....wow theres actually alot of pretty neat stuff as well...but as you know....if there is no purpose i won't use it.

hope i can set aside my laziness and work like how i did when i started in robinsons....a bit scary at first....well that is applicable for the first ever job you did, frankly speaking after robinsons i was rather numb on working in new places. Get used to the job, and hopefully no idiots that take managerial positions exist......robinsons centerpoint used to have lots of them, the dumb manager can't even operate their own cash register LOL how stupid can they get. its not like they could do their job very well either....information always get lost, changed, sales are always poor.....not too sure about now but i doubt it can be any better....everyone working...ok maybe most hates the top guns in the office.....if your troops can't even trust the top guns.....pretty much shows how effective the whole system is eh....

haha.....oh well i might start bloging weekly along with submitting my weekly report of my sip.
but hell.....i couldn't even maintain updating while i was in japan.....the fun just overtook me and i was really too into japan culture and it just seems too normal to me after 1 week there......

till now i still really wish i can migrate there......life is just SO much better compared to here. and hope i can save my sip pay to pay for my japan trip next year if it does seem possible to do so.....sango is getting into my brain again and thats a bad factor....

the purpose of a intership

say....what do u think a intership should be about?..

is it for the experience?......or for the work experience?

i texted my lecturer/careperson about how i have to reply the company tomorrow and stuff here and there, also i noted that i do not know if i should take up their offer as
NO.1...being a social media analysis = drop dead boring job....
NO.2...its a waste of time because i probably won't learn anything i don't know.

which then my lecturer said that going for an intership "is just for the work experience".

so wad the fuck......if u just wanted "a work experience" can't i just buy the fuckin papers, call a company....which i will be placed in a even more real situations and get a better pay, instead of going in as an intern and get treated like endangered species....

its a fact come on, everyone knows it. interns do nothing in their work.....if i wanted "a work experience" i would be better off finding a job off my own.

a intership should really be about puting u into a company where u can learn things u couldn't in classrooms, and to put what you learnt in the class to the test, not just to get "a work experience"

going for a intership just for "the work experience" is just totally unjustifiable to me.....

yes i do want to add on, it is the company's worker that gave me the advice to choose wisely as they do know clearly during my interview that i wanted a more technical intership and not just clicking on facebook everyday, so they told me that if i feel i won't learn anything, i should not hesitate to reject it.

THAT....dicks.....IS GOOD ADVICE......this company is good as far as i know, and if based on this you want to avoid this company for future interships, i do not have anything to say...

i'm just very disappointed that lectures works like robots that have failed programming.

singapore's educational system is a outright fail.....from start to end.......but at least the teachers in primary and secondary school.....are......human......
anything above that are mostly screwed robots given a bolt tightening once every few months.....

my awesome phone lines have given me problems beyond epicness

friday my home phone line was down but my internet was working fine...

saturday it was the direct opposite, and i was forced to use tether from my phone to my com, which in turn i used my com to transmit ah hoc network connection for my xbox.......

now sunday everything seems fixed, until my modem went red and my internet died and my home phone now doesn't ring when people call in.
my internet SEEMS to be ok after i restarted my modem, but i still get poor connections for my xbox and i always disconnect from games.....my computer seems fine otherwise...

fucking ISP.....WAKE UP LEH............

omg i love my console..

buying ninja gaiden black is like the best thing i can ever have...

meaning...(above)....i might start changing my blog directions....since my life is boring...
maybe i'll start posting games in a very research base and , of course the type of games i play and in a nutshell how it works....

maybe for now....i'll start with a very basic intro to games (wow great revision for game history for my own knowledge) hahaha

games started....oh hell i think it was somewhere in the 1970's....where universities have a room (about 1.5 times the size of ur room?) that has nothing but racks of processing computers. yes in the past computers weren't like laptops....they are like 15 cupboards....and the only thing they could do is maths calculation (from 1+1 to something like insane spaceship speed calculations)
but still...even though how advance the calculations were, it was very limited the type of applications it had.
bored people started making games (i think so, do correct me if i'm wrong about the birth of games)
the first wasn't pong, but i'm dead lazy to go dig for it, even google can give u the wrong answer about the first game created. but technically people started making games cos they are simply, bored.

games soon advanced, u might think now that only life-less people play games, but in the past owning a game console was a holy status, until they got affordable cos of market competition. practically everyone in the past loved games. who didn't played pac-man, space invaders. mario....ask those from that era of 1980~1990s.....those games even though super simple in design took the world by storm

so do concider that, rethink the position of games, i have alot of friends in secondary school who always scolded me for always playing games, but have they ever though how game came about and exist...

i believe, with playing the right game, analysis, quick thinking, and decisive choice decision making can be honed. a human's brain works incredibly well with games, look at people who play facebook games.
even though they start the game without instructions, look at how well they associate items and how things work in game. the brain does all this critital associations incredibly well....like what type of food will sell well, when should i do this and do that......people often doesn't realise this while playing casual games....

example...i believe many played zombies vs plants. through a number of game plays we start to memorise the different type of zombies without realising. also is the type of plants that work well with the different zombies, and different strategies that is most effective in winning the game, do we actually get help?....no its the background brainworks of connections and associations that does the job (unless u cheat the game), the subconscious mind works at an amazing way....and we probably won't understand it in another few hundred years down the road

well i shall stop here, next time i'll go into detail the different game and why its popular....how it works stuff stuff bla bla bla....and hopefully it changes ur mindset of games
