darkroom workshop~~~

today was my first offical "i decide to pick up a skill course" stuff......

and.....photography and darkroom workshop....
IT WAS AMAZING
i learned how to use....a .....SLR!!....not a dslr but A SLR!!...what a antique...it runs of flim can u believe it???....and i learned alot on ISO, aperture control...focusing....i believe it works about the same as a dslr and i definitely can operate a dslr.....lower frame rate, higher aperture.....faster frame rate...lower aperture......argg i forgot since its all adjusting...i just know that low frame rate needs smaller aperture hole...and faster frame rate needs bigger aperture hole....

interesting eh..
and because of the antique we are using....it was on flims.....and instead of shutter press and auto load, we have to manually load the next film for the next shot..

next was the developing of the negatives, cos not even a microgram of light can be exposed to the film, we had to literally load the negatives into tanks in a completely dark room, where i can't even see 1mm infront of me, and my partner had to drop the film...zzz...wasted a whole bunch of time on searching for things in the dark

then in the tank, pour developer water, shake, pour fixer, shake, then bla bla bla just to get the negatives to work...and in the end....

the negative was completely blank, cock up lor....reason being...well they say it was over-exposed to light, so i had to grab a negative lying around the darkroom so i can do the photo developing stage....

same thing, load negative, test, expose photo paper to lighted negative, soak in developer water lar, fixer lar....bla bla bla.....

my first and 3rd photo, these 2 are the same but obivously something is wrong, the same case as the 2nd photo, something wrong causing it to be like the first.

aperently the enlarger machine's light blub was not strong enough, exposing the photo paper under 2 seconds was not enough although it was more then enough for other machine.
that 3rd photo was photo paper exposed to the film under 7 seconds...and aperently still not long enough....

but overall it was fun....i learned how to use a SLR, how to develop my own photos!!!...

then after that i went iluma play, stupid rain had me stuck at sim lim for a good 30min.....
play mahjong and i can say although i still find it hard to win...i'm improving!!!....i already score 2 free games today!!!.....hahaha.....JAP MAHJONG!!! WOOOO......
